Our Simon earrings are meticulously crafted from Emaline, our flagship resin renowned for its exceptional quality and ability to create a unique look for each piece. Each pair is truly a unique piece, where the finesse of the craftsmanship is revealed in the smallest details. We have paid particular attention to reproducing natural elements to create a realistic imitation of the mushroom, particularly through the delicate gills under the cap and its texture. Each Simon earring thus becomes a true little treasure to wear, reflecting both the care taken in its design and the authenticity of its natural inspiration.

Mushrooms are one of the oldest components of our diet. Harvested since prehistoric times, they were a sacred food for the pharaohs, a prized seasoning for the Romans, and highly sought after from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Their history is as old as humanity and can be found in all cultures! By spanning all these eras, they further embody sustainability.

It is notably represented with Beatrix Potter, author of Peter Rabbit, who was also passionate about mycology, producing hundreds of illustrations of mushrooms but excluded from scientific circles because of her gender. Meanwhile, Anna Maria Hussey, an illustrator and self-taught mycologist, managed to publish Illustrations of British Mycology and make a living from her drawings despite the obstacles imposed on women.
