Meticulous steps for unique creations

The manufacturing of our jewelry follows several meticulous steps. It all starts with the drawing. Then, there are several manufacturing steps requiring technique and meticulousness such as: cutting the materials, gluing the elements, assembly... Each piece of jewelry is colored with artisanal dyes, created and applied by hand in our workshop. Finally, a shine phase is carried out, allowing each piece to reveal all its beauty and natural shine.

What makes our creations so unique is the use of Émaline, an exclusive resin developed by Ciléa. Thanks to its lightness and exceptional shine, Émaline gives life to jewelry of unequaled finesse. This material is carefully worked to obtain elegant and luminous pieces.

The Cilea story: a passion for craftsmanship and innovation

Cilea was founded in 1992 by Stéphane Ravel, with the ambition of creating handcrafted jewelry combining quality, originality and know-how. Very quickly, Cilea became known for its unique creations, which combine elegance and modernity. The Anémone model, launched in 1995, has become a true symbol of the brand. This timeless jewel perfectly embodies the spirit of Ciléa: refined and durable pieces that transcend eras without losing their charm.

The birth of Émaline: an exclusive resin

One of the key moments in Cilea's history was the development of Émaline resin. This unique resin was designed by Ciléa to offer jewelry of great lightness and exceptional brilliance. Émaline is inspired by Talosel, a resin created by Line Vautrin, an emblematic figure of artisanal jewelry. It was her student, Monique Védie, another craftsman, who passed on her know-how to Stéphane Ravel, thus making it possible to develop this exclusive material that is at the heart of Cilea's DNA. Thanks to Émaline, Ciléa was able to create unique, luminous and elegant pieces, which have made the brand famous.
