The origins of this colorful costume jewelry

The Botanica jewel is inspired by the eggplant, a vegetable that has long been perceived as a dangerous plant in Europe. Introduced to the Mediterranean in the Middle Ages, the eggplant was sometimes nicknamed the "devil's apple" because of its strange shape and dark color, which caused fears.
Due to its botanical family, theSolanaceae, which includes plants such as belladonna, was perceived as toxic.

It was only later, after being cultivated and experimented with, that it was recognized as an edible and nutritious food, becoming a common ingredient in cuisines around the world.

A source of inspiration for jewelry

In some cultures, the eggplant was perceived as a precious, almost mystical fruit, and designers transformed it into an elegant motif for pendants or brooches, thus combining originality with the extravagance of nature.

2. Protect them from shocks and friction: Although our earrings are lightweight, they can get scratched. Remember to keep them in their pouch or box when you are not wearing them.
3. Clean gently: To remove dust, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products that could scratch the surface.
4. Keep them away from chemicals: Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions or household products that could alter the color of the resin.
5. Store them carefully: Store your earrings in a dry place away from humidity to avoid any risk of discoloration.

Manufacturing time

Many of our pieces are made to order, one by one, within 1 to 5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). If your order contains more than 2 pieces of jewelry, the manufacturing times may be extended by a few days, depending on the models. If you need your order before a specific date, do not hesitate to contact us by email at bonjour@cileabijoux.com to confirm the possible shipping date of your package.

Delivery times

Metropolitan France: Once your order has been manufactured, it will take between 1 and 4 working days for delivery, depending on the means of transport chosen. Available delivery methods:
Chronopost: express delivery within 24 hours.
Colissimo at Home: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.
Colissimo Relay: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.

International: after manufacturing in our workshop, delivery times are estimated between 3 and 6 working days depending on the destination (Colissimo).

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from the delivery date to change your mind and return your order. Metropolitan France: a flat rate of €10 return costs will be deducted from your order refund. International: return costs are your responsibility.

Non-refundable products
For hygiene reasons, earrings with attachments for pierced ears (stems, sleepers and hoops) are neither exchangeable nor refundable, except in the case of a manufacturing defect. Earrings with clip attachments are not affected by this restriction.
Personalized or custom-made products are not refundable.
