The exotic inspiration of the Pineapple earrings

The Botanica model by Ciléa is inspired by the Pineapple, an exotic fruit with rich and fascinating symbolism.

The Pineapple has a fascinating history, marked by its journey from South America to the royal tables of Europe.
Native to Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina, the pineapple was discovered by Europeans during Christopher Columbus' explorations of the Caribbean in 1493.
Fascinated by this exotic fruit, Columbus brought it back to Europe, where it quickly became seen as a symbol of luxury and hospitality.

In the 17th century, the pineapple became a status symbol in Europe. Due to the difficulties of growing it outside its native climate, it was extremely expensive and reserved for the elite.

British and French aristocrats grew it in heated greenhouses called "ananaseries." Pineapples were often displayed at banquets as symbols of prestige, and some people even rented pineapples to display at receptions.

It was only later, with the advent of improved agricultural techniques and mass production in tropical colonies, that the pineapple became more accessible, and it is now one of the most popular fruits worldwide.

Manufacturing time

Many of our pieces are made to order, one by one, within 1 to 5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). If your order contains more than 2 pieces of jewelry, the manufacturing times may be extended by a few days, depending on the models. If you need your order before a specific date, do not hesitate to contact us by email at bonjour@cileabijoux.com to confirm the possible shipping date of your package.

Delivery times

Metropolitan France: Once your order has been manufactured, it will take between 1 and 4 working days for delivery, depending on the means of transport chosen. Available delivery methods:
Chronopost: express delivery within 24 hours.
Colissimo at Home: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.
Colissimo Relay: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.

International: after manufacturing in our workshop, delivery times are estimated between 3 and 6 working days depending on the destination (Colissimo).

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from the delivery date to change your mind and return your order. Metropolitan France: a flat rate of €10 return costs will be deducted from your order refund. International: return costs are your responsibility.

Non-refundable products
For hygiene reasons, earrings with attachments for pierced ears (stems, sleepers and hoops) are neither exchangeable nor refundable, except in the case of a manufacturing defect. Earrings with clip attachments are not affected by this restriction.
Personalized or custom-made products are not refundable.
