Unique jewelry thanks to artisanal dyes

The old Pensée brooch is distinguished by its delicate design and its multiple available colors. Each brooch is unique thanks to our handmade dyes in the workshop which ensure rich and varied shades. Inspired by the Pansy flower, this brooch combines simplicity and sophistication. This brooch is also available in a small model.

Our Émaline resin, a unique technique

The Pensée brooch is made of Émaline, an exclusive enameled resin developed by Ciléa Bijoux. This innovative material provides a luminous finish thanks to techniques such as mattification, glossing, mother-of-pearl and resin inclusion. Émaline provides a long-lasting shine and an elegant texture, guaranteeing a piece of jewelry that is both refined and resistant to time.

Pensée, flower of memory and love

The pansy, with its velvety petals and deep colors, has crossed the ages carrying a universal message. Symbol of thoughtful love and sincere feelings, it draws its origins from a legend where Cupid, god of love, touched it with a golden arrow. Marked by this divine gesture, the flower became the emblem of silent loves and secret thoughts, a tender message offered to those who know how to listen to the language of flowers.

In the Middle Ages, lovers would discreetly slip pansy flowers into their missives to declare their passion without breaking the rigid rules of etiquette. Later, in the Victorian era, each shade of the pansy carried an intention: purple for nostalgia, blue for trust, and pink for fidelity. To offer a pansy was to whisper softly:"I think of you."

Inspired by this romantic and symbolic story, Maison Ciléa has designed an antique brooch in the shape of a Pansy flower, a tribute to this floral icon.

Our advice for a durable piece of jewelry

• Avoid contact with water to preserve the colours and shine of Émaline
  
• Do not leave the pin exposed to sunlight or excessive heat in order to maintain its shine and structure
  
• Clean it gently with a soft, damp cloth without rubbing too hard to maintain its shine and avoid damaging the details.
  
• Store it in a dry place, away from humidity, preferably in a pouch or case to protect its shine and structure.
  
• Handle with care to avoid distortion or damage to fine details.

Manufacturing time

Many of our pieces are made to order, one by one, within 1 to 5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). If your order contains more than 2 pieces of jewelry, the manufacturing times may be extended by a few days, depending on the models. If you need your order before a specific date, do not hesitate to contact us by email at bonjour@cileabijoux.com to confirm the possible shipping date of your package.

Delivery times

Metropolitan France: Once your order has been manufactured, it will take between 1 and 4 working days for delivery, depending on the means of transport chosen. Available delivery methods:
Chronopost: express delivery within 24 hours.
Colissimo at Home: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.
Colissimo Relay: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.

International: after manufacturing in our workshop, delivery times are estimated between 3 and 6 working days depending on the destination (Colissimo).

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from the delivery date to change your mind and return your order. Metropolitan France: a flat rate of €10 return costs will be deducted from your order refund. International: return costs are your responsibility.

Non-refundable products
For hygiene reasons, earrings with attachments for pierced ears (stems, sleepers and hoops) are neither exchangeable nor refundable, except in the case of a manufacturing defect. Earrings with clip attachments are not affected by this restriction.
Personalized or custom-made products are not refundable.
