We use high quality materials and innovative manufacturing techniques to create our Pensée brooch. The Émaline resin, exclusive to our workshop, provides a shiny and durable finish. The different techniques of mattification, glossing and mother-of-pearl add depth and refined texture to each flower. These processes ensure that each brooch is not only beautiful but also resistant to time.

The pansy flower, messenger of love and the soul

For centuries, the pansy has been linked to the most sincere feelings, making it the flower of love and reflection. Legend has it that one day, Cupid, the god of love, shot his arrow, but it grazed a humble wild flower. Touched by the golden tip, the pansy became a symbol of a delicate and modest love, the one that is expressed in silence, without brilliance but with depth.

That's not all: during the Victorian era, when speech clashed with strict rules of etiquette, lovers offered bouquets of pansies to declare their feelings. Each color carried a message: pink for fidelity, blue for trust, and purple for nostalgia for tender memories. Thus, slipping a pansy on an outfit or offering it was tantamount to silently saying:"I think of you."

It is in homage to this romantic story that Maison Ciléa has imagined the designer brooch Pensée. Inspired by the softness and depth of this emblematic flower, Maison Ciléa has imagined the designer brooch Pensée. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted in our Breton workshop. The delicate petals, carefully crafted, recall the discreet elegance of the pansy, while its vibrant colors celebrate the eternal beauty of emotions.

Some tips for taking care of your designer brooch:

• Always store the brooch in a soft case to avoid scratches and protect its delicate colors.
  
• Avoid exposing your jewelry to water, perfume and cosmetics
  
• Use a soft, damp cloth to gently dust the pin without damaging it.
  
• Keep the pin away from intense heat sources to maintain the integrity of the Émaline resin.

Manufacturing time

Many of our pieces are made to order, one by one, within 1 to 5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). If your order contains more than 2 pieces of jewelry, the manufacturing times may be extended by a few days, depending on the models. If you need your order before a specific date, do not hesitate to contact us by email at bonjour@cileabijoux.com to confirm the possible shipping date of your package.

Delivery times

Metropolitan France: Once your order has been manufactured, it will take between 1 and 4 working days for delivery, depending on the means of transport chosen. Available delivery methods:
Chronopost: express delivery within 24 hours.
Colissimo at Home: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.
Colissimo Relay: delivery in 2 to 4 working days.

International: after manufacturing in our workshop, delivery times are estimated between 3 and 6 working days depending on the destination (Colissimo).

Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from the delivery date to change your mind and return your order. Metropolitan France: a flat rate of €10 return costs will be deducted from your order refund. International: return costs are your responsibility.

Non-refundable products
For hygiene reasons, earrings with attachments for pierced ears (stems, sleepers and hoops) are neither exchangeable nor refundable, except in the case of a manufacturing defect. Earrings with clip attachments are not affected by this restriction.
Personalized or custom-made products are not refundable.
