THE FRENCH LIVING HERITAGE COMPANY LABEL
Since 2019, Ciléa has been awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) label, a distinction granted by the French State to French companies that master excellent traditional craftsmanship.
Thirty years of handmade manufacturing, recognized.
WHAT IS THE EPV LABEL?
The EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant - Living Heritage Company) label is a mark of state recognition, established to distinguish French companies possessing excellent industrial and artisanal expertise. It is awarded for a period of five years, renewable.
It is the only state label awarded to a company for its entire activity, guaranteeing the excellence of its know-how.
CILÉA JEWELRY: UNIQUE EXPERTISE
Enameling is not learned through a traditional curriculum. It is passed down from hand to hand in the Rennes workshop, after years of practice. From Stéphane to Cyril. From Stéphane to Améline. A skill learned, repeated, perfected, until it becomes second nature.
Cutting, coloring, engraving, assembly – each step demands precision that cannot be improvised. This is what a state label comes to confirm.
NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Today, there are 1,035 EPV-labeled companies in France, across the entire French production fabric. Ciléa is one of them.
RENEWED. CONFIRMED
The EPV label is awarded for five years, then re-evaluated. Ciléa obtained it in 2019 and has renewed it since. Each renewal is a new confirmation, not a given, a sustained requirement.
