THE CILÉA STORY

Ciléa Bijoux

AN UNEXPECTED ADVENTURE

Ciléa was founded in 1992 by Stéphane Ravel. An accountant by training, he crossed paths with Monique Védie, an artist and student of Line Vautrin. She introduced him to Talosel, a light and solid material that is worked by hand and is unlike anything else.

In the Parisian apartment he shared with his wife, he began making his first pieces of jewelry.

His wife's first name, Celia, spelled backward, became the name of the brand. And his daughter's name, Améline, gave its name to the material, Émaline.

The secrets of Émaline

For more than twenty years, the Ciléa house has grown and improved, always remaining faithful to its floral, contemporary and animal inspirations, the same ones that marked the beginnings of the brand.

THE BIRTH OF THE ANEMONE

In 1995, Stéphane created the Anemone. Thirty years later, it is still in the catalog. Still worn, still given as a gift, still requested. It is the piece that summarizes Ciléa better than any other word.

THE PARISIAN WORKSHOP BECOMES BRETON

In 2012, the workshop left Paris to settle in Brittany, opening a new chapter in the history of the house.

A NEW ERA

Since its creation, Ciléa Paris has multiplied encounters and collaborations.

The workshop participated in an art exhibition at the Hôtel Bristol in Paris and partnered with Monoprix Montparnasse for a pop-up store. The workshop had the pleasure of meeting you at the Made In France exhibition in Paris in November 2025.

Ciléa Paris is also a member of Ateliers d'Art de France, a network that brings together professionals in the art crafts.

It was in this spirit that Améline, Stéphane's daughter, joined the workshop in 2020. With a background in film and management, she brings a fresh perspective without breaking with tradition.

Her first creation in collaboration with her father, the Daisy model, quickly became one of the house's bestsellers.

Under her impetus, Ciléa Paris launched an online store, revamped its visual identity, and developed new collections.

Stéphane still creates. Cyril still manufactures. What's changing is the generation that is moving the house forward. In 2023, Améline officially took over its management.
