CHESSBOARD : A COLOURFUL PIECE OF DECORATIVE ART!
Chess is a board game played by two players on either side of a board called a “chessboard” consisting of sixty-four squares, thirty-two light and thirty-two dark, called the white and black squares.
The aim of the game is to inflict checkmate on the opponent, which describes the situation in which a player’s king is in check and cannot be remedied. It is these different characters that our creators have taken great pleasure in revisiting in the form of animals: the lion for the king, mice or kittens for the pawns… Thus creating a playful, durable and above all a unique piece of decoration! It is a real cerebral sport, since the French Chess Federation (FFE) is now a sports federation.
AN ORIGINAL AND PLAYFUL GAME WITH UNIQUE COLOURS :
The various dyes that make up the different statuettes of this luxury chessboard are made by hand. This means that there are slight variations in colour from one animal figurine to another, which gives them a unique charm. No two sets will be like yours.
